Coping With Criticism

 Learn strategies and skills to enhance your confidence and personal security to manage receiving criticism from supervisors or colleagues to friends and relatives. You can learn how to phrase criticism to others in a way that has the best chance of modifying behavior.

Use listening skills to improve understanding to discuss issues, not personalities.  You will learn to distinguish between legitimate, constructive criticism and irrelevant personal attacks, or unproductive remarks of contempt and disrespect.  You will design appropriate, assertive responses for both.
